Born 3/31/1935 in Los Angeles, California. Producer/composer/trumpeter/bandleader. Played trumpet since age eight. Formed A&M Records with Jerry Moss in 1962. Used studio musicians until early 1965, then formed his own band, the Tijuana Brass.
