The band took its name from Herman Hesse’s Steppenwolf and is founded in 1991 in Sofia, Bulgaria. Their first album I is released under Riva Sound in 1993 and is a huge success for the relatively unknown band. The biggest hit to emerge from this album is Keep On Rockin’ which gains good airplay ratio and the video is one of the most frequently played on various TV-channels.
