Higher Fives is the only all-vegetarian, cat-loving, psychedelic-experience-advocating band in Johnstown, PA. They play loud, noisy, self-conscious rock songs about a loud, noisy, self-righteous world. Or maybe it's the other way around. One never knows. Their first album, Cystems [MIF201], was recorded live in an old church in the spring of 2011 and released on cassette in the summer of that same year.
