Hinterlandt was founded by J. Gutsch in Sydney/Australia in 2002 as an experimental music project. Hinterlandt relocated to Bonn/Germany in 2004. After many ensemble and solo gigs, a full-blown powertrio was formed in 2007, with F. Gebhard on bass and H. Voigt on drums.
