Hiver Nucléaire is a musical project started in December 2009 by Kyle Coleman, Sarah Sennett, Ryan Smith, and Eric Brown. Beginning (2009) The group formed to arrange traditional Christmas songs to later perform them but later decided to focus on writing an original song. "Don't Let Christmas Get You Down" was written over the course of three meetings at Kyle's house. On December 21st, all members were present for the recording.
