horizon 22 were a Hammond-led jazz/blues quartet with shades of Jimmy Smith, Wes Montgomery, Lalo Schifrin, Booker T and the MGs, The Meters, early JTQ and Corduroy. horizon 22 were formed in the late 1990s out of a desire to fuse Hammond organ 60s Blue Note grooves with 70s film soundtrack atmospherics.
