Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, Howard Iceberg has been writing songs for more than twenty years. He started out on a harmonica, and then took up the dulcimer, a three-stringed Appalachian folk instrument. After falling in with a punk rock band half his age or twice his size, he started souping up dulcimers with electricity and other gizmos.
