Hoyle Nix (March 22, 1918, Azel, Texas - August 21, 1985, Big Spring, Texas) was an American West Texas fiddler and bandleader. He was born to Jonah Lafayette Nix and Myrtle May (Brooks) Nix. The family moved to Big Spring when Hoyle was one year old. His father was a fiddler and his mother a guitarist, and the couple often performed together at community gatherings.
