Hymn to Humanity is the Post-Rock / Instrumental Indie project of native Grand Forks, North Dakota resident Nicholas Kerzman and his best friend Calvin Heide from Owatonna, Minnesota. Originally created in February 2013 under the name "Our Bodies Will Soon Lie Perfectly Still," Hymn to Humanity was started to express Nich's emotions in more abstract ways than his electronic music project, Martyrs of Apathy.
