HYNA, born in Japan in 1988, is a Japanese singer-songwriter. HYNA played piano since the age of 4, and in 1997 began writing and composing music. In the avex audition a-motion in 2007 her song "My Dream" won out of 4000 participants. After being sent to a major record label, HYNA soon found out that it was not what she envisioned for her music and left to perform at smaller venues in Tokyo and try her own hand at producing music.
