Hypocon (Ian Whobrey or Ian Lux) is a hip-hop artist originally from Branford, CT. He now lives in Pacific Grove, CA. Whobrey began writing emotionally intense poetry in November 2009. In March 2010, he began to create music under the name MC pHrEek@Z0!D. He sequenced beats from scratch with a Yamaha MO8 synthesizer and recorded some early material on cassettes.
