I, Your Liege began simply as an idea between two friends. Unhindered by any particular genre or conventional scene standard, the two friends created music that they could call their own. Not long after the groups inception, one of the friends had run into a bassist, who said he was playing with a couple of guys, and they were looking to join a band.
