Originally briefly known as Millenia, Iconic Phare was originally formed in 1996 when Paul D'acia, Richard Dews (of Dare) and Russell Dawson-Butterworth got together in a studio in North Wales. Their first Album "Thinking Rock" was completed and lined up for release in 1997, and incorporated the anthemic rock influences of bands such as Pink Floyd and Genesis.
