Idiopath is the brainchild of guitarist/vocalist Kurt Losinske and drummer Johnathan Nault, founded in autumn of 2008 in the city of Ripon, Wisconsin. Their vision was to fuse Kurt's chunky guitar rhythms, bluesy solos, and gruff vocals with Johnathan's funk-rock driven grooves. The search was on for a bassist.
