In_zekT was formed in Drammen, Norway in the summer of 2002 by brothers Peter and Niklas Vindel. A common love of modern rock and industrial bands like Nine Inch Nails, Skinny Puppy, Tool, and Linkin Park influence their modern rock with an industrial edge sound. A supporting gig for Ministry on their 2003 European tour alerted the Norwegian music business to their existence and favorable press and local radio quickly followed.
