Into Orbit is a post-rock/post-metal duo from Wellington, New Zealand. Their instrumental music is characterised by aspects of rock, metal, soundscapes, ambient, noise and drone. Formed in early 2013 by guitarist Paul Stewart and drummer Ian Moir, they soon began performing live and writing for their debut album Caverns which was self-released in August 2014.
