IOUNOI began out of necessity. Evan Price, the sole contributor to the band, had been going through major life changes. Price spent sometime in the hospital after a suicide attempt, it was there that he realized he had to make a big change. He had been playing for Precision Machines for six years, once again being solely held on Price’s shoulders. Precision Machines was not personal, but wrote allegories through music.
