Iron Cage started in the summer of 2004 and broke up in 2008. Iron Cage was: Gosse (vocals), Hans (drums), Rene (bass), and Ferry (guitar). They took the name from sociologist Max Weber who used the term to refer to increasing rationalization of human life, which closely reflects the band's ideas and lyrics.
