Islam Rzayev was born on 11th of November in 1934 in village Sardarly, Fuzuli. He died in January 26th in 2008 in Baku. Khanende, is the national artist. He was worthy continuer of Karabakh School. From 1951 to 1956 received professional musical education in Baku in Governmental Music School of Azerbaijan. He perfectly studied dastgahs of mugam in Seid Shushinsky’s class.
