It's True! was formed in Omaha, Nebraska in December of 2008. Members include primary singer/songwriter Adam Hawkins, along with Kyle Harvey, Matt Arbeiter, Karl Houfek, and Andrew Bailie. The band has been described by mid-western press as "alarmingly charming" and has found itself garnering the type of attention that can best be described as a small ripple of turning heads.
