Jak Stout is a band that originated in the Detroit area (Lapeer), has grown and honed a sound that could only be described as an amalgam of world and american sounds. Drawing from the reggae/dub tradition in feel, adding latin flavor with percussion and rhythms, Jak Stout integrates these into their international jazz/jam/pop/rock sound.
