Jalda Rebling (b. 1951) is a German cantor, actress and singer of Jewish songs and medieval music. Jalda was born in Amsterdam as a daughter of Holocaust survivors. When she was 2, her family moved to East Berlin to realize their futile dream of building up a truly socialist society.
