Jan Václav Antonín Stamic (June 17, 1717, Německý Brod – March 27, 1757, Mannheim) was a Czech composer (his name was lately germanized as Johann Wenzel Anton Stamitz - also only Johann Stamitz - during his life in Mannheim ) and violinist.
