Native of Madrid, Spain. At the age of 6, Javier began to study solfege, piano and clarinet under the guidance of his father. At 17, Vercher graduated with a degree in classical clarinet studies from the Joaquin Rodrigo Conservatory of Valencia. After graduating from the conservatory, Javier began to explore jazz music.
