Jay Paul Brockman was born in the great state of Texas, sometime during the 1980's. His folks moved him to Mexico City at an early age, and there he, along with The Jinich Brothers, gave birth to what is now MANGOOSE MEDIA. Jay later moved to San Juan, Puerto Rico, where he dragged Raúl Picaporte and Richard Hunter-Rivera into Mangoose's musical wonderland. In 2000, Jay left Puerto Rico to attend college in Arkansas.
