I was born on 2nd May 1972 at Ocean Road Hospital Dar es Salaam my mother being Mwendapelu Nalaila and my father Fanuel Mgendi. I have three brothers namely Mao Mgendi, Mlenge Mgendi and Noel Mgendi. I received my education at Mgulani Primary School, Kisutu Girls School, Korogwe Teachers college and the University of Dar es Salaam.
