Jimi started djing in 1998. At that time he developed battleroutines and focused on freestyle-scratching. After hearing groups like the Invisible Scratch Pikles or the Beatjunkies, he soon concentrated on scratching and how to do fully turntablized songs. The albums Phantazmagorea and Scetchbook gave him the motivation to work on his own album.
