Jin Nyodo (神 如道 born May 10, 1891; died January 18, 1966) was considered as one of Japan's foremost shakuhachi performers. More importantly, Jin Nyodo did extended research into the history and classification of shakuhachi music, providing guidance to many interested in the early traditions of shakuhachi performance.
