Joel Futterman (b. April 30, 1946, Chicago) is an American jazz pianist. Futterman played jazz professionally from his early teens, including with Roland Kirk, Clarence Shaw, and Jimmy Garrison. He played with artists affiliated with the AACM, but eventually decided to leave Chicago, moving to Virginia Beach in 1973. In the 1980s he released several albums of material on his own label, JDF, and worked with Robert Adkins and Jimmy Lyons.
