Johan Schurer was born on the 5th of June 1970 in Anna Paulowna, The Netherlands. From early age on he was interested in electronic instruments. He collected anything he could get his hands on varying from schematics to theoretical electronic music. His dad gave him his first synthesizer for his 15th birthday and had classical piano and organ lessons. Since he grew up in the 80's his influences are clearly from that period.
