John DePatie is a guitar player who has been active in Los Angeles, CA since 1993. With one foot in the rock camp and one foot in the jazz camp he began his professional career by playing in local rock bands, as well as jazz duos and trios. He formed his own jazz/fusion group in 1996 in Los Angeles, CA and by 1998 had a weekly residency at the jazz club Rocco in Bel Air.
