Johnny Goes West was an indie pop band that formed in 2005 in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, England, consisting of Mike Boyd - guitar and vocals, Tom "Walls" Walley - guitar, Tim Combley - bass (replaced by Josh Davis in 2007) and Charlie Hodge - drums. They stopped playing together in 2008. Their signature song "Precious Butter" received local radio airplay and the song "Madrid" was played at a fan's request on Radio 1 during the Steve Lamacq show.
