Johnny Velvet & The Scares are a 4 piece band hailing from Hendersonville, TN. James Gillen, Edwin Degrella, and Richard "Trae" Primrose started the band in the March of 2012. Shaun Thomas completed the quartet two months later. Playing music influenced by Kings of Leon, Cage The Elephant, and Manchester Orchestra they quickly gathered an internet following through Facebook and Reverbnation.
