Boston is famous for its rockers, who have ranged from Aerosmith, the J. Geils Band and the Cars to 'Til Tuesday and Letters to Cleo. But when it came to rap, Boston didn't get nearly as much attention as New York or Philadelphia in the 1980s or 1990s.
