Jolly Mortals was a band from Richmond, VA active from around 1992. The first incarnation of the band consisted of David Didonato sharing guitar and vocal duties, Sean Sutphin on drums, John 'Blade' Swart - the other half of the band's rhythm section. Their first 'official' release was a four-way split 7" on Whirled Records, followed by an EP named 'Paintscraper'.
