Jonas Ruchenhever made his first sound work when he was fourteen, using a variable speed cassette recorder, a four-track reel-to-reel machine, a couple of microphones, a cheap acoustic guitar, a lot of household appliances, and, when he had the money to spare, a rented Arp Odyssey.
