Joya (full name: Joya Owens; born 1973 in Detroit) is an R&B singer who released her debut album Here I Am on June 20, 1995 on the Atlas/A&M record label. Her debut single was "I Like What You're Doing To Me" is described as having an R&B feel with a touch of Hip hop. It reached number 46 on the Billboard charts towards the end of 1995.
