Just Six Spaces was formed in the Summer of 2004, after friends and fellow musicians Mike Mitchell and Steve Leighton defected from their former band "Nova", and decided to form an open collaboration. The band then cut a four song demo at "Hand in Hand" studios, which was produced by their good friend and mentor, Brett Talley.
