Karina Buhr is a Brazilian singer, musician, and actress. Buhr was born in Bahia, but grew up in the state of Pernambuco, where she was introduced to the the region's folk-music. She formed the band Comadre Fulozinha in 1997, which became successful in its presentation of the musical traditions of Pernambuco.
