In 2005, KC Booker started playing with an acoustic guitar and boombox in the streets and cafés of Berkeley, California. He has since been signed by independent label Bittersweet Records, with a debut album that melds Mississippi blues, old-school hip hop, and 60's rock. KC Booker is also the singer/songwriter of European success story Big Soul.
