Kelroy was formed in Chicago, IL in January 2007 by a group of friends who had played in previous bands together in Chicago's local Spanish rock and Indie rock scenes since the late 90's and early 00's. Developing a local following since their formation, the band has played notable Chicago venues such as Metro, Double Door, Subterranean, and the Cubby Bear.
