I was born in Los Angeles, California, got my first guitar at 10 years old and taught myself to play. My influences were the Beatles and Stones and the 60's rock bands, surf music, Motown and Chuck Berry. My playing was influenced by the British and San Francisco bands. I was later influenced by the Southern Blues/Rock players. I learned about blues through these bands.
