King Ferdinand's New Skis was formed in 2010 by members Matt DiFerdinando (Bass, Vocals) and Mark Wisniewski (Drums, Guitar, Vocals). They were joined in 2011 by Nick Gatto (Piano). The three met at St. Joseph's Preparatory School in Philadelphia, PA in 2006. The band's first EP, The Album Name Should Be, was recorded by DiFerdinando and Wisniewski the summer before they left for college in 2010, and the newest tracks off of Tracks From Below Colfax added in Gatto.
