Three core members met at work. Started playing together in late 2000. Recorded a six song demo of covers. Sound leaned towards rockabilly and jump blues. First gig, May 2001. Played little smoky clubs. Lead singer heard a Louis Prima compilation and Prima become a major influence on our sound. Caught the interest of local swing dancers and started playing dances in 2002.
