Kleen Cut debuted in 2000 on the single "The Glamma Life" with Paperboys and MadCon and was one of Norway's first exponents for New York-style commercial rap. The same year he released the Rumblin-produced "Do it again"/"When a push ain't enough". In late 2002, he dropped the mixtape "#1 Draft pick" together with DJ Big Paulie and displayed that he mastered his genre.
