The group Koma Venge Sodirî, was established in late 1997 like so many young Kurdish bands in the "MKM" (Mezopotamya Kültür Merkezi / Mesopotamia Culture Center). Members of the ensemble are: Ayfer Düzdaş, Songül Pak, Hıdir Çelik, Nurcan Değirmenci, Çiğdem Karaman and Mehmet Akbaş.
