The history of KOSMOZOO begins in 1996, when all its members went to school. None of them could play very good, except Valik Derkach who had graduated from the music school where he learned to play guitar and sometimes he strummed different rock' n' roll things or fragments from Pink Floyd. Igor Tarnopolsky had (and still has) a lyrical nature and was writing extremely sad songs. At that hard time a giant grew in the band.
