As did Admiral T, to whom he acknowledges he owns a lot while still aiming to differenciate from, Krys popped out very early. Engaged in rap through neighborhood friends, he soon decided to dedicate himself to dancehall. It's as a young DJ (15 years old) from Point-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe, that he met the Black Micky crew.
