Kushehnooney started out in the early years of the nineteen nineties. As with any band the name came later the music came first. Aeysh, Bogu Ishan, Zia, Andhu, Ishantey coughed up the 50 rufias per hour rent for Tharaboozuge practice room. Over the years, with many line-up changes, studios, jail sentences, wives kids, the current lineup of Ablo Arif, Zia, Andhu, Ishantey and Ahmed Jones found time to get together in Zia’s Bedroom/Studio.
