The story of the green potatoes started in 2002 in the city Cologne. Within two busy and creative years playing lots of successful concerts the band developed its very own style and a was supported by a growing fan base. The breakthrough in the rhine region came in 2004 with two concerts broadcasted by the public radiostations Funkhaus Europa and RadioMultikulti.
